The afternoon began with a couple of children helping us to set up some materials outside, they described what they were doing as making a washing tent. It was a bit rainy and blustery but was not particularly cold so the girls persevered with their set up until they had completely finished.
Then as it started to get a bit darker, they decided it would be best to make a tent inside. So with the help of one of our playworkers, they draped a giant piece of fabric over the slide to create an instant tent. The holes in the fabric let some light through creating an almost magical hidden space within The Shop of Possibilities. Then they furnished it with seats and cushions, and then spent most of the afternoon in the den!
Then it got even bigger the next day!
